Vanilla Sugar Cookies

2 ¾ cups all purpose flour
2 tsp McCormack Cream of Tartar
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 ½ cups sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) softened butter
2 eggs
2 tsp McCormack Pure Vanilla Extract
Additional Sugar for Rolling


In medium bowl, mix flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.  In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light & fluffy.  Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
Gradually beat in flour mixture until well mixed.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
